![]() ![]() ![]() That's just the cyclic nature of software. I don't know a single sim-racer who has just one sim installed.Ĭurrently I have AMS2, PC2, rF2, R3E, and ACC installed on my PC, simply because they all offer something different, be it AI, FFB, VR, or Career-mode.Īnd yes, at some point people will move away from R3E entirely, just as they moved away from rF1 when better things became available. ![]() That lasted for about a month, then the novelty wore off, and nobody really bothered anymore.Īs for people moving on to other sims, that's already happening to some extent or other. Right after release every online race had night, rain or both. Night-racing in particular only comes into effect with endurance racing, and the vast majority of people do 20-30 minute races, maybe 1 hour races if they're feeling frisky. I rarely, if ever, use them in the sims that actually have them. If you're willing to pay for a night/rain expansion, that's fine by me. Are you talking about rf2 or rf1 ? because location folder is old school rf1 -)įor rf2 go to your rFactor2 dir, default path will be something like C\steam\common\rFactor2 open it up ,in the rFactor 2 folder you will see the packages folder along with all the other folders, simply copy & paste the sepang rfcmp into the packages folder.Click to expand. No, that's me objecting to you calling it 'easy'. But I recommend using STEAM workshop to install mods & tracks ! it has 80% of everything for rf2 so far. Good luck & welcome to rf2 !!!įor rf2 go to your rFactor2 dir, default path will be something like C\steam\common\rFactor2 open it up ,in the rFactor 2 folder you will see the packages folder along with all the other folders, simply copy & paste the sepang rfcmp into the packages folder. Now launch rf2 from the desktop ,It will open to the launcher, when the launcher comes up you will see icons on the left, find the 'open box' icon, (it's the second from the top under the home button) this is your mod manager ,click on this, once it opens you will see all the tracks & mods that are installed. scroll down until you find the track your looking for 'sepang' highlight it and hit the 'install' button (bottom left ) Done ! everything you place in the packages folder will show up here. From this timeline you can see this has taken a huge amount of time and effort from Flash(Jeremy) and Feralarri(Gavin) to get this mod to fruition. Race against a field of AI cars, or in multi-player mode against others. All tracks in rFactor 2 Discussion I've made this list of tracks in rFactor 2 to help me know what's available and where to find it. Fresh Scratch built 3D car models from Flash, with some fantastic interior modelling has seen a whole brand new experience brought to you to enjoy racing in rFactor 2. rFactor 2 supports a full day-night cycle as well as dynamically varying weather conditions such as rain which dynamically builds into puddles. Tracks feature 'real-road' technology that changes the grip as more cars drive on it. Probably the most convenient way of doing so is through the same Steam Workshop that you are familiar with when playing rFactor 2. It's not all tracks but most of the known tracks. The different tracks and cars that you can use to host races in rFactor 2 can be downloaded in different ways. Find what content you want ,click on it and hit 'subscribe' this will auto download & install it easy piezy! and it will auto update any content your subscribed to when ever theirs an update for that content ! find the work shop on the rf2 page in STEAM just click on rf2 in your STEAM games list and scroll down a bit until you see the workshop icon. ![]()
